NECC Receives Extension To The Earlier Contract From TATA Steel
North Eastern Carrying Corporation Limited (NECC), an integrated logistics solutions provider with presence across India and Nepal and having an established operational set up in Bhutan and Bangladesh, is pleased to announce extension to earlier contract from TATA Steel for a consideration of Rs. 500 million. The revised gross contract Value from TATA Steel now stands at Rs. 4500 million from earlier Rs. 4000 million.
The contract is towards carrying raw materials and mining products from Tata Steel's Joda and Sukinda mines to the company's factories. Of this the contract towards transportation from sukinda mines now stands revised to Rs. 1500 million from earlier Rs. 1000 million to be executed and completed by December, 2018. Value of contract towards transportation from Joda mines continues to stand at Rs 3000 million

In the past, the Company has worked extensively in the mining space with Rungta Mines Limited in Joda, Odisha and MSPL Limited in Hospet, Karnataka, NECC over a period of time has built capability in conducting this specialized mechanized operation involving highly skilled manpower and liasoning with the Government.
