MEP Sanjose Bagged Order From National Highways Authority Of India
MEP Sanjose Talaja Mahuva Road Private Limited ("MEPTM") a subsidiary company of MEP Infrastructure Developers Limited, had entered into a concession agreement with The National Highways Authority of India ("NHAI") dated July 8, 2016 for four laning of TALAJA - MAHUVA Section of NH - 8E from KM. 53.585 TO KM. 100.100 (design chainage from KM. 54.990 TO KM.100.450) (PACKAGE - II) in the state of Gujarat on Hybrid Annuity mode under NHDP Phase IV.
Key highlights of the projects are as under:
(i)Construction period: 2.5 years from the appointed date.
(ii)Concession period: 15 years (excluding construction period of 2.5 years).
(iii)The company will receive bi-annual annuity from NHAI post commercial operation date (COD).
(iv)The bid project cost is Rs. 6430.5 million out of which project finance will contribute Rs. 2893.7 million and remaining will be funded by grant from NHAI and equity contribution by the company.
MEPTM had achieved the financial closure in terms of the concession agreement executed with NHAI ("the Authority"), by tying up of project finance of Rs. 2893.7 million on March 9, 2017.
The authority now has given April 25, 2017 as the appointed date for the project vide letter dated May 1, 2017.
