MEP Infra Bags Toll & ECC Collections Contract In Delhi
MEP Infrastructure Developers Limited ('MEP') has received the Letter of Intent (LOI) dated 19/09/2017 from Office of the Director Local Bodies (Toll Tax Department) informing that MEP has been engaged as the "contractor for SDMC (Lead Corporation acting on behalf of all the three Corporations) for Toll & Environment Compensation Charge (ECC) collection at Border Points from Specified Commercial Vehicles entering Delhi".
Key highlights of the project are as under.;
(i) Toll & Environment Compensation Charges (ECC) collection rights at all entry points to Delhi.
(ii) Terms of the Contract Agreement:
a. Period of contract is 5 (Five) years.
b. The operations will commence after complying with the statutory formalities viz. submission of performance security, signing of contract as stated in the LOI.
(iii) The contractual amount for the said project is INR 1,2060 million per annum payable to SDMC on a weekly basis.
