Xilinx Plans To Open New R&D Center In India
US innovation firm Xilinx, a pioneer in adaptive and intelligent computing, on Thursday reported the opening of a four lakh sq ft research and development (R&D) focus in the city and with it intends to plans to double the headcount over the next few years.
The new R&D focus will help further our extension and continuous commitment with clients, accomplices and industry illuminators while referring to the pace of development of the firm from a group of 60 employees in 2006 to the present headcount of 1,000. A decent lump of the headcount is in Hyderabad, including around 800 engineers.
The multi-million dollar engineering facility will help drive Xilinx's next period of territorial development with plans to double the headcount in India inside the coming years. The company plans to refused to specify the investment made on the facility and the timeframe within which 1,000 more people will be hired
The biggest for Xilinx outside of its corporate base camp in San Jose, California, the R&D focus will drive proceeded with progressions in the organization's hardware and software products, including the new adaptive compute acceleration platform (ACAP) devices and Vitis Unified Software Platform.
