UP Govt Sanctioned Amount Of Over Rs. 10.45 Cr For Solar Power Based Street Lights And Drinking Water
The Uttar Pradesh Government has sanctioned an amount of over Rs. 10.45 crore in the current financial year for providing street light and drinking water through solar power plant to the nagar panchayants of 07 districts under the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Saurpunj Scheme.
The Urban Development Department has issued an order in this regard. Out of the total sanctioned amount, over Rs. 01 crore has been sanctioned to Maholi Nagar Panchayat of Sitapur, over Rs. 01.25 crore to Iltifatganj Nagar Panchayat of Ambedkarnagar, Rs. 78 lakh to Jangipur Nagar Panchayat of Ghazipur and Rs. 98.69 lakh to Madhogarh Nagar Panchayat of Jalaun district.
Likewise, over Rs. 01.13 crore has been sacntioned to Umrikala Nagar Panchayat of Moradabad, Rs. 01.80 crore to Babhnan Bazar Nagar Panchayat of Basti and over Rs. 01.79 crore to Vankati as well as Rs. 84.62 lakh each to Uria Husainpur and Puldiya Bhindara Nagar Panchayats of Pilibhit district.
