Tata Technologies Partners With Rayat Shikshan Sanstha To Set Up CIIIs
Tata Technologies, a global engineering services provider, announced that it has partnered with Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, a leading Indian educational organisation, and Science and Technology Park, Pune, one of the science and technology entrepreneur parks in Pune, for setting up centres of invention, innovation and incubation (CIIIs) in Maharashtra. The first CIII in Satara was inaugurated in the presence of Sharad Pawar, president of the Nationalist Congress Party, and Prakash Javadekar, Minister of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
In the coming months, three more CIIIs will be set up in Mumbai, Pune and Ahmednagar. The key objectives of establishing these CIIIs are to provide high-end industrial training to graduates for better employability and to support innovators and potential young entrepreneurs by providing technical training, access to advanced technologies and co-working spaces, mentoring and private funding. The CIIIs will comprise a technology R&D centre, advanced manufacturing centre and exploration R&D centre and enable innovators to build a complete product from ideation to a ‘virtual build’ or ‘real build’ working prototype.
