Raymond Lays The Foundation Stone For Its Textile Manufacturing Facilities In Amravati
Raymond - the leading manufacturer, marketer and retailer of finest worsted suiting and cotton shirting fabrics & significant player in the branded apparel industry announced its expansion of cotton manufacturing footprint at Textile Park, Additional Industrial Area, Nandgaon Peth, Amravati, Maharashtra. The Bhoomi Pujan and Shilanyas was performed by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri. Devendra Fadnavis and Shri. Gautam Hari Singhania, Chairman & Managing Director, Raymond Ltd.
Present on the occasion were Industries Minister Shri Subhash Desai, Energy Minister Shri Chandrashekhar Bavankule, MOS Industries, Environment & Public Works and Guardian Minister Amravati – Shri Pravin Pote Patil and MOS-Home, Urban Development, Law and Parliament Affairs – Dr Ranjit V Patil along with prominent MPs and MLAs of Vidarbha region.
Also present were Raymond Group’s CEO Lifestyle Business Mr Sanjay Behl and CEO Cotton Textile Businesses Mr. S.K. Gupta.

These facilities will provide employment potential exceeding 8000 workers with capital infusion of about 1400 cr in different phases.”
We already have state- of- the -art 45 million meters capacity denim fabric plant in the Vidarbha region at Yavatmal employing more than 2500 hands
