Operation Of First Commercial Freight On New Khurja Section From New Bhadan Of 'Phase-One' Of Dedicated Freight Corridor
The first commercial freight train was operated on New Khurja section from New Bhadha of ' Phase-One ' of the Dedicated Freight Corridor . This carriage was flagged off by Mr. Anurag Sachan, Managing Director of DFCCIL at the New Bhawan station in the presence of Additional Manal Railway Manager (Infra) Allahabad Mr. Enamul Haq.
The 40 Wagon-operated ICPH Malgadi was operating with loco pilot Sohan Lal Meena and guard Inderraj Meena with assistant loco pilot Harish Kumar.
From New Bhadan station, at 11:28 pm , the car reached the New Tundla station around 13:50 and then left for New Khurja at 1400 hrs. Mr. Surendra Singh and Mr. VS Chauhan, Deputy Project Manager were present at New Tundla. Khurja section is a total length of 194 km from Bhadan of the Eastern dedicated freight corridor (EDFC), which is fully completed in Uttar Pradesh .
It is to be known that on 29.11.2018 , the Chairman , Railway Board Shri Ashwani Lohani conducted extensive inspection of the newly-constituted section of the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) .
In eastern corridor so far about 200 have completed kilometer track and March 2020 to 800 is expected to complete the track km. Located on the Delhi-Kanpur section , Bhadan-Khurja section has 6 stations and a total of 249 bridges, including 17 Major , 137 Minor , 92 Road Under Bridge (RUB) and 3 Rail Flyover . Maldives on DFCCIL will be able to run the maximum speed of 75 km / h on Indian Railways at a speed of 100 km / hour.
This is a special project which is being implemented for transport of goods. The construction of these tracks will significantly improve the timed operations of passenger trains. With the completion of this project, additional routes will be available for passenger trains as well as increase in the commercial potential of the train as well as the development of the nation's industrial environment.
Here is a particularly noteworthy fact that , Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation Limited recently got the first double on the 190 km section between Phulera (situated on the Rewari-Ajmer section) from Attari, Western dedicated freight corridor on 15th August 2018 . The stack container freight train was run.
