Odisha Government Approved Investment Proposal Worth INR 1,753.82 Cr
The Odisha government has approved six speculation proposition worth Rs 1,753.82 crore in various areas, which would make employment opportunities to 5,566 individuals. The six projects in textile, food processing, plastics, tourism, steel and downstream sectors were endorsed on Saturday at the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) meeting.
As indicated by enterprises secretary Hemant Sharma, the proposition of Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Limited (IMFA) was affirmed for setting up a ferro chrome unit and 10 MW WHRB (squander heat recuperation boilers) control plant at Kalinga Nagar, Jajpur with an all out venture of Rs 547.19 crore.
Another proposition in the metal segment by Shri Jagannath Steel and Power Limited for extension of its current 0.1 MTPA coordinated steel plant in Keonjhar region to 0.3 MTPA limit with an all out venture of Rs 835.34 crore, was given green sign. This will give extra work to 501 individuals, the authority said.
The authority likewise cleared the proposition of Page Industries Limited to set up a piece of clothing fabricating unit at Khurda with an all out speculation of Rs 257.50 crore and it will give work to around 3,500 individuals, he said.
Another proposition of Jay Bharat Spices Private Limited for expansion of its generation and cold storerooms at Ramdaspur in Cuttack with extra speculation of Rs 50.10 crore got approval of the administration, Sharma said including that the undertaking will make extra work to 550 individuals. This venture would make work open doors for 900 individuals, he said
