New Solar Power Plants Planned For Assam With Capacity Of 140 MW

Assam to have 140 MW solar power plant at different district of the state. The state govt signed agreement for two new solar power plant with each capacity 70 MW at Dima Hasao district and at Amguri in Sivasagar district. The Power Purchase agreement signed between Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) and NC Hills Autonomous Council for 70 MW Solar Power plant to be set up at Dima Hasao and Power Purchase agreement & land lease and implementation support agreement signed between APDCL and Jackson Power Private Limited for the 70 MW Solar Power plant to be installed at Amguri Solar Park in Sivasagar. Both the power plants would be complete within the first quarter of 2021.
