NBCC Completes 600 Houses Project In Odisha
Honourable Chief Minister of Odisha Shri Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated 600 structurally sound, durable and climate adapted houses, built by Navratna CPSE NBCC, for slum dwellers in Bhubaneswar, a move which will benefit hundreds of urban poor to improve their living standards.
This development has been undertaken as part of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) project under Rajiv Awas Yojana for Rangamatia Slum Improvement Project (Relocation) at Gadakana in Odisha's capital Bhubaneswar.
All the units are well ventilated and NBCC has taken utmost care in putting in place a robust sanitation facility for each of the houses. The project costing over Rs. 52 crores is spread over five acres of land and is equipped with all necessary infrastructure like KVA transformer, a playground for children, a community centre and a shopping complex. The built up area of each unit is 36.5 sqmt.
