J Kumar Infra Helps Flag Off Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project
J Kumar Infraprojects Limited (JKIL), one of India's largest infrastructure company has successfully completed the Ahmedabad Metro Project by Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation. The contract was awarded in February 2015 and a project was duly completed on time. The total length of the project is 6.5 Kms.
The scope of work was as follows
1) Construction of elevated viaduct from vastral gram to apparel park - up to ramp start in reach R1
2) Construction of balance station work 1. nirant station 2. vastral station 3. rabari colony station
The project was inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 4th March, 2019. Each station consists of 04 staircases, 02 lifts and 02 escalators.

The total order book, as of December 31, 2018, stands at Rs. 10,466 Crore JKIL has presence across segments namely civil, transportation and irrigation. The sub-segments stretch across civil, flyover, irrigation, elevated metro, underground metro and construction of roads.
