Haryana Chief Minister Inaugurates Under Bridge Constructed At Butana
Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal laid the foundation stone of five projects to be constructed at Hansraj Khansar Pilgrimage at Safidon, Jind at a cost of Rs 43.22 crore. He also inaugurated a under bridge constructed on Assandh Road at Butana Canal Branch. A sum of Rs 3.20 crore has been spent on the construction of this under bridge.
The Chief Minister performed Puja at the old temple constructed at Hansraj Pilgrimage which dates back to Mahabharata period and also participated in the Yajna at the Sanskrit Pathshala being run at the Hansraj Tirath Complex.
Speaking on this occasion, Chief Minister said that pilgrimage falling under the radius of 48 Kos of Kurukshetra would be rejuvenated. I have already visited several pilgrimages and rejuvenation of these sites which are as old as of Mahabharat period is necessary to keep preserves the significance of these places, he added. Mr Manohar Lal went around the Hansraj Pilgrimage and said that work like the arrangement of fresh water at the site be undertaken so as to enable the pilgrims to take holy bath.
