Gujarat CM Interacts With Business Tycoons In Mumbai
Ahead of the forthcoming Vibrant Gujarat Global Business Summit in January 2019, Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani interacted with business tycoons in Mumbai and had a one to one meeting with them.
In the first phase of the meetings, the CM interacted with the Directors of Tata Sons Limited, RPG Enterprise Limited, Hiranandani Group, United Phosphorous Limited, Welspun Limited, State Bank of India and Abbot to discuss the possible projects and investments in the state. Mr. Rupani also interacted with Mr. Nikhil Meshwani of Reliance Industries. The CM extended an invitation to the business leaders and industrialists for the Vibrant Gujarat Global Business Summit in January 2019 at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar.
The CM also directed his talk in the direction of setting up a 100 MLD Desalination Plant at Jodia on a PPP basis in order to curb the problem of potable water in Saurashtra. The CM also explored the areas of investments and business centres at GIFT city. He urged the businessmen to take advantage of Gujarat’s investment friendly policies.
Mr. Rupani further talked of possible areas of investments in Gujarat in Defence and Aero Space Sector.
Mr. Dilip Sanghavi of Sun Pharma also interacted with the CM for exploring the uses of renewable energy in pharmaceuticals and showed a keen interest to invest in the state in the same direction.
Chief Secretary Dr. J.N Sigh, ACS (Finance) Mr. Arvind Agrawal, ACS (Revenue) Mr. Pankaj Kumar, Principal Secretary of Industries and Mines Department Mr. M.K Das, Industries Commissioner Mrs. Mamata Verma, M.D of iNDEXTb and various other officers were present during the meeting.
