Government Of India Set Up 31,696 MW Solar Power Generation Capacity
Government of India said an all out 31,696 Mega Watt (MW) of lattice associated sun powered power age limit has been set up in the nation till October 2019. The administration's objective is to introducing 1,00,000 MW lattice associated sunlight based power limit by December 2022, Minister of State for Power and New and Renewable Energy R K Singh said in a composed answer to the Lok Sabha.
"As on October 31, 2019, an all out lattice associated sun oriented power age limit of 31,696 MW has been set up in the Country, activities of 17,998 MW limit are at different phases of establishments," the clergyman said.
Tenders for another 36,278 MW limit ventures have been given and with new tenders of around 15,000 MW arranged in residual time of 2019-20 and 2020-21, and the nation is on course for accomplishing the objective, he said
The majority of the sunlight based power extends in the nation have been/are being set up with private venture, Singh said.
"The association government has been actualizing National Solar Mission under which different Schemes (as point by point in Annexure-III) have been propelled for advancing the age and utilization of sunlight based power in the nation.
