Foundation Stones Laid For Six Community Centers In Haryana
The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal laid the foundation stones of six community centers in different villages of the Gurugram district and that of boosting station in Sector 72.
The Boosting station in Sector-72 will be set up by the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA), which will supply drinking water in zone 4, 5 and 6 of Gurugram city and Gwalpahadi area. From this, drinking water will also be supplied to Sector 58 to 80 of Gurugram city. The GMDA officials informed the Chief Minister that the boosting station would get water supply from Chandu Budhera. It will be set up over four acres and nine pumps will be installed in it. This will cost about Rs. 69 crore and this will benefit about 11.5 lakh people of Gurugram city.
The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stones for the construction of Community Centres in six villages. These community centers will be established in villages Mau, Lokra, Fakarpur, Dhanavas, Khentavas and Tikli. Each community centre will cost over Rs 1.41 crore. Thus, about Rs 8.5 crore will be spent on these community centres. Today, the Chief Minister gave a gift of Rs. 77 crore to the Gurugram district.
