Foundation Stone Laid For Railway Under-Bridge In Village Dhanwapur Of Gurugram District, Haryana
Haryana Public Works Minister, Rao Narbir Singh laid the foundation stone of the railway under-bridge to be constructed at a cost of about Rs 27 crore in village Dhanwapur of Gurugram district. After its construction, the people do not have to stand longer at Dhanwapur gate.
The Minister was addressing the people after laying the foundation stone in village Dhanwapur in Gurugram.
Rao Narbir Singh also laid the foundation stone of a road to be constructed by the Municipal Corporation around Phirni in village Dhanwapur at a cost of about Rs 39 lakh. He said that railway under bridge to be constructed near Dhanwapur gate would be two-laned and 5 meters in height. After its construction, small vehicles would be able to pass under the railway line and do not have to wait for long in queues due to closing of Railway crossing gate. Its construction work would be completed in nine months.
He said that apart from this, railway over bridge in village Bajgheda has almost completed. The present State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, has improved the infrastructure in the entire state including Gurugram. He said that railway over bridge in village Wazirpur and Taj Nagar have been inaugurated and the construction of railway over bridge in village Garhi Harsaru is in progress.
He said that construction and improvement of roads in various villages in Badshahpur Assembly constituency has been done by Public Works Department at an amount of over Rs 285 crore and railways over bridges have been constructed in Bajgheda, Wazirpur and Garhi Harsaru at the cost of about Rs 90 crore.
He said that city bus service was started in Gurugram to resolve the problems of the people, while a mini bye-pass was constructed in Farukhnagar and the road from Captain Umang Bhardwaj Chowk to Dwarka Expressway would be 6-laned at the cost of about Rs 81 crore.
