EESL Plans To Set Up 1500 MW Solar Power Plants By 2021
State-claimed Energy Efficient Services Ltd (EESL) has forayed into sun powered force age and plans to set up 1,500 MW of decentralized sun oriented force plants the nation over before the finish of 2020-21, its managing director, Saurabh Kumar said.
As indicated by Kumar, the Maharashtra government had given order for 800 mw of sun solar power, of which EESL has as of now operationalised 100 MW. Rajasthan has given EESL the command to set up 113 MW of sun based dispersed age ventures, he included.
In Maharashtra, EESL is providing power at Rs 3.10 per unit to agribusiness feeders, with land for the project being given by the state. In Rajasthan, the organization will supply power at Rs 3.90 per unit alongside land procurement cost, he said.
The organization, notwithstanding, won't set up sun oriented limit of more than 10 MW at one area, Kumar stated, including that the limit of these sun oriented force plants in every substation ranges from 0.5 MW to 10 MW.
